Real Trees 4 Kids!
In 1999, the National Christmas Tree Association introduced Real Trees 4 Kids!, a free online curriculum about the science of Real Trees for students, teachers and leaders. Since then, the curriculum has been expanded to address all students in grades K-12. Lesson plans and activities are age-appropriate and cover a variety of topics, including soil science, the economics of Real Trees, species, lifecycles, genetics, recycling and the environment and more! Visit us online at www.realtrees4kids.org to download free lesson plans, teachers guides, activity ideas and more!.
A children-friendly version of growing trees is also available at How Stuff Works.
